The html pages of MyFinanceLab are currently readable by most screen readers. The questions in assignments and the Study Plan are rendered using a different technology, Flash, and we are working on making all of our content readable.

Pearson recently released an updated player that supports multiple choice questions with the JAWS screen reader: multiple choice questions can be read using JAWS, answering and interacting with the questions require specific keystroke combinations in JAWS. We are releasing this pre-beta player for two reasons: 1) it offers substantial improvements for students using our product with JAWS, and 2) we view these improvements as early stage and want customers to review them and help guide our next steps in improving the accessibility of MyFinanceLab.

You will need to install custom Adobe/Flex scripts for JAWS to use the MyFinanceLab Player as effectively as possible.

Please be aware that these custom scripts will only work with JAWS 10.

Assignment	How to select your multiple choice answer in JAWS
Homework	Read the choices using JAWS Open the form field list by using the key combination of INSERT+F5 Go to the top of the form field list Read and Select your answer choice from the form field list using the up and down keys Use the Enter key to select your answer from the multiple choice question After selecting your answer you must check your answer by selecting Check Answer from the form field list When you are ready to leave your assignment select Save from the form field list
Test or Quiz	Read the choices using JAWS Open the form field list by using the key combination of INSERT+F5 Go to the top of the form field list Select your answer choice from the form field list using the up and down keys Use the Enter key to select your answer from the multiple choice question Work on another question by selecting Next or Previous from the form field list When you are ready to submit your assignment select Submit from the form field list.
